Hello and welcome to the online home of the Eagle Ridge Suffolk Horses owned by Deena Meadors and Morris Sheane. Our farm is located northeast of Manning, Alberta, Canada. We invite you to learn more about our Suffolk Punch draft horses and us.
In the world of heavy horses, we believe the Suffolk Punch to be the absolute best breed for disposition, intelligence, excellent feet, and practical conformation. These medium size draft horses are bred to work on the farm. At Eagle Ridge, our harness broke draft teams are used daily feeding stock and hauling firewood to the house in the winter. Wagon work, skidding logs, and spreading manure on our farm are good, honest jobs performed well by our Suffolk Punch horses.
We offer the very best quality draft horses for sale from our breeding program. These horses are bred for farm and pleasure use.
Visitors are always welcome, but please call ahead so that we’re sure to be in the yard. We’d be pleased to have you meet the horses and to visit with you.
